Where’s the beef? Well, beef cattle are raised in all 50 states. In fact, we have more than 13 million head of cattle in Texas alone, which makes us the top cattle state in the U.S.
In 2018, Americans ate more than 26 billion pounds of beef, which is equal to about 57 pounds per person. And beef is delicious, nutritious and absolutely part of a heart-healthy lifestyle.
