Happy birthday, America! The biggest holiday of the summer is fast approaching, and it’s time to celebrate this great nation we call home.

Pull out the lawn chairs. Cover everything in red, white and blue. And invite some friends and family over. It’s time to throw America a birthday party.

We have much to celebrate—family, friends and good neighbors. The farmers and ranchers who grow our food. The hands who prepare it. And this land we call home thanks to the men and women who keep us safe.

For Fire Crackers you will need…FireCrackers
1 box whole grain saltine crackers (4 sleeves)
1 packet fiesta ranch dip mix
1 c canola oil
2 Tbsp crushed red pepper flakes

These are by far one of the easiest and tastiest party foods I’ve ever made. They’re sure to bring a burst of flavor to your celebrations!

Start by emptying two sleeves of crackers into a large bowl. Then, mix together the dip mix, crushed peppers and canola oil.

Pour half of the oil mixture over the crackers, and mix well by hand.

Remove the crackers from the bowl and place on parchment paper to dry. Then repeat the process with the remaining crackers and oil. Drying will take about an hour.

These crackers will last up to a week if stored in an air tight container. Chances are there won’t be any to store, though. These crackers will definitely light up your celebration. And they’re even better with a little Pimento Cheese on top. Happy birthday, America. From all of us at Texas Table Top, have a safe and happy holiday!
