Slow Cooker Chicken with Wild Rice
By Kelly Bogard
What is it about chicken that just warms us to the core? I have always looked to chicken as a comfort food. Think about it—Roasted Chicken with Dressing, Chicken Pot Pie, Fried Chicken…There is just something about chicken that makes me feel at home. Unfortunately, chicken takes time to cook and prepare. One of my mom’s and my favorite traditions is making all kinds of treats—all sorts of cookies, candies and other tasty confections—for family and friends. To go along with those treats, I found a great slow cooker recipe for Holiday Hot Chocolate.
The best thing about this recipe is you can get it started and walk away—which means more time enjoying the holidays with those family members and friends.
